Job Overview:
As a Contracts Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting internal and external stakeholders by interpreting, negotiating, and administering software and service agreements. This includes managing contract extensions, new business deals, invoicing, and addressing financial matters such as credit holds and receivables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review non-standard business terms in contracts related to software and services proposals.
  • Advise sales and account teams on contract strategies that align with business objectives while meeting client needs.
  • Engage in negotiations with client procurement and legal teams to ensure favorable terms and outcomes.
  • Provide creative contract solutions that align with company policies and goals.
  • Support sales teams by guiding contract structures and managing escalations when necessary.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with contract transactions.
  • Handle complex licensing agreements, high-value service engagements, and multi-faceted transactions.
  • Ensure accurate and complete revenue documentation for financial processing.
  • Promote adherence to pricing policies and revenue recognition guidelines.
  • Verify the validity and relevance of contract references and historical agreements.
  • Maintain high-quality standards in all contract documentation and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of legal principles and contract requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies and errors.
