Senior QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and translate business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and cases for automation.
• Design and develop automation scripts to validate feature functionality and support regression testing.
• Continuously enhance testing processes and ensure automation integration within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Execute automated tests and capture results to provide detailed reporting and analysis.
• Identify and document system defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with project teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct verification and validation of defects and testing activities.
• Develop and maintain test cases for complex software applications within the broader test strategy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing within enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, documentation, code reviews, and defect tracking.
• Hands-on programming or scripting experience in Java.
• Experience with QA automation tools such as TestNG and Robot Framework is an advantage.
• Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Protractor, Cucumber, and Galen is beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in testing and troubleshooting.
